We've been working through supply issues (low). At times, DS will nurse
for 20 min, again for 20 min within the hour and still acts starving! I
will offer a bottle (we've had to do some supplementation) and he will
eat 2-3 oz. I just wonder if he's getting enough milk from me or if he
just wants to suck. He is content after the bottle, but I hate to have
to do supplementation. Sometimes I try to see if a pacifier will help
him be content for a while. Would a baby take a bottle like that if he
wasn't very hungry, but just because it's offered? I guess it's hard
for me to tell if he's truly hungry, or if he just wants to suck.
Thanks!
