1st Trimester

What I eat today....

Ugh has anyone been experiencing this. I'm almost 8 weeks and what I eat today tomorrow I can't even stand the sight nor smell of. If I even think of it I start to get the heaves. UGH :( I'm running out of things I can eat. The overall nausea for the past 10 days has been horrible. During Easter dinner yesterday (when we told our family) I had to keep excusing myself and running to the back room and sticking my head out the window just to get away from the smells. The only thing that continues to sound good is pickles. LOL I devoured the tray of pickes pre-meal yesterday before hardly anyone else could get some.

  • I'm exactly the same way! If I even think about something I just ate I practically throw up in my mouth. It's really hard to even go in the kitchen and it's so weird because I will have REALLY enjoyed eating it but then the very thought of it makes me sick. I'll be glad when food sounds good again.

  • i'm in the same boat too! i thought pickles were good for like a day, and now even thinking about the smell of them makes me want to hurl! that goes for pretty much everything. it sounds good for a second, and then i'm repulsed by it. no fun!

  • I have the problem of I want nothing that is cooked in my own kitchen and if something sounds good, by the time I actually get it, it usually doesn't sound good anymore.  That is, aside from super pretzels and mustard or cheese.  That I have been able to consistently eat.  Thankfully, the first trimester is just about getting through and what you eat doesn't have much of an affect on baby yet.

I ate a whole box of super pretzels in 2 days.  They're awesome with cream cheese on the side to dip.
