Nothing like a hospital stay to get LO used to crib

DS has been sleeping in his RNP since birth, mostly out of convenience so he could sleep next to our bed.  Well, he was admitted to the hospital on Saturday night (had RSV 3 weeks ago, developed bronchiolitis and was struggling to breath, plus not eating).  He took to the crib there like a champ.  He is a mover-he turned almost 180 degrees during most naps and at night!  I think he likes the freedom of the crib now.  We tried the crib at 3 weeks for naps and it was a big bust.  I think it was too big and scary for him but now he is ready to stretch out!  He's sleeping in his room right now.

Thankfully his oxygen levels improved greatly after some breathing treatments and he is not retracting much at all.  He also got some fluids and though he is not eating nearly enough as he was pre-illness, he's getting enough to sustain.  They were able to discharge him today.  Today he is smiling and happy and definitely feeling better.  It was a scary way to get him used to the crib, but he was an angel while he was there and we're so glad to be home.
