I have my first ever acuuncture appointment tonight (nervous & excited). Anyone have any good tips? Speaking of tips, do I need to tip the acupuncturist? I don't tip my doctors but I do my hairdresser!?!?!
I only did it before and after transfer. It was kind of strange but I would do it again. I did not tip because the guy had his own business and I figure this is more like a Dr appointment and you don't tip your Dr. Good luck!
Diagnosis: DOR and MFI-low everything
IVF #1 = triplets! 2 girls and a boy!
Born Sept 29, 2011 at 32w6d due to Pre-e and HELLP syndrome
Shave your legs, wear loose fitting/comfortable clothing, I don't know if your Acu will do this at the 1st appt....but mine puts needles in my feet....so I always have to make sure my feet/toes look good for the public, leave your hair down, needles will not hurt...you won't even feel them...maybe slightly...but nothing big, if anything in uncomfortable tell your Acu, they will move the needle and the biggest thing.....shut your mind off when they leave you to relax/get some rest. Oh and if an area is a little sore...this is normal...means it's working.
GL!

Re: 1st Acu appt tonight
Oh yay!!!! I LOVE Acu!!!!
No, you don't tip your Acu.
