Re: i am so bored
I have lots of work, but just want to sit here and cry instead...
Lets entertain each other instead of me crying and/or working.
I got a new camera this weekend. That is something exciting/to look forward to. I ordered fun stuff for it (a cute bag https://www.etsy.com/transaction/48428468 and some other fun stuff including a book to help me learn how to use it better).

Ours has a pretty automatic option. You turn it to "P" and then point, push the button half-way down to focus and then the rest of the way down to take a picture. You can turn it to other settings and do special things on manual. MH is good with it. I on the other hand, usually just set it to "P".
As for lunch, I vote for french fries!

They have different settings that you can use until you learn to use it in manual. It isn't very hard to learn a DSLR, I got mine last July and I was using it completely in manual with in two months.
I think you should have fried chicken for lunch, I so miss fried food.
I should be doing work. but allergies and or a cold are kicking my as*s right now. I feel like crap.
I want a DSLR so bad. DH has one for work but he wont let me use it. BIL has one but keeps it in his cruiser. I have a point and shoot i just broke (my 4th one) and a nicer point and shoot. I love taking pictures.
Worms - for lunch - do you have a panera near you - I am not sure if they have those in the city or not....anything within walking distance?
I am going home to sit in the sun and take a load off and do some laundry.

That is too funny! Yea I bought mine with some left over birthday money last year and by the time I was done buying accessories and lenses I had almost put us in the poor house. It is addictive!
Plenty for me to do too, but I don't want to. I have a food hangover. Salty ham at my sister's house.......ugh.
thanks for the camera info. i love taking pics (i use a point and shoot digital) and was actually yearbook photographer in HS and college. i just haven't bit the bullet and got a DSLR.
how much do they run? any recs?
and fried chicken and french fries sound delish but will mess with my IBS (it may worth it)

It depends on if you want a super fancy model or not. I got a middle of the road camera, but got it refurbished so I got a bit of a deal on it. I am personally a Canon girl, so that is what I would recommend (sorry Meg). They can run any where from 600 to a couple thousand depending on the model.

I shouldn't be bored, but I am.
We weren't home last week really- at all. It was a nightmare crazy whirlwind week. And the house and laundry reflects it! Gotta get motivated soon! Although I'd rather just bump and then take a nap. I'm exhausted/drained.
