nbr: news vent

With all the crap going on with the economy, the current job market, the housing market, the banks sucking asss, two wars that we are for some reason funding, people dying every day, govt killing in Libya, the disaster in Japan, and everything else, one of the top headliners for today is where Obama went to Easter services. Really? WTF, when did that become worthy news? Is his being Christian or Muslim or anything else really going to affect this country? Are we suddenly going to be take over by martians or all turn purple due to this? Where is the relevance?

Okay, done venting. I just think there are more newsworthy things out there.

Unfortunately, even the news that is reported on important matters, rarely ever is completely accurate either. But I feel there has to be a balance. I can not stand the news because I have gotten so exhausted of never hearing anything good or happy on the news that I don't bother reading it or watching it anymore. I keep track to important matters through small news feeds about once a week. Maybe that ignorant of me, but why would I want to feed myself constant negativity? It doesn't help anyone. Period.
