We've had difficulty swaddling in the past and lo would scream his head off so we thought he didn't like it. We gave it one more try last night with a large swaddle me that we got. He conked out almost immediately then we were able to get 2 4hr stretches last night where he went right back to sleep after eating instead of being up screaming in the middle of the night which has been his habit. The 3 poop blowouts he had yesterday may have helped with that too.

    The summer infant swaddle me. We got the larger size which is the one that worked

    YAY!  We have a picky DD too... I always test by holding her arms down to see how she will react.  Sometimes it calms her and sometimes she gets mad.  We are still using the SwaddleMe Small, but crazy they only like things certain ways.

    Congrats!!  I feel bad because people bought us 3 of those velcro like swaddles.  DS will ONLY be swaddled from the belly down.  He hates having his arms tucked in.  I tried to use the velcro ones and they aren't as effective as a blanket.  DS usually kicks out in the middle of the night, but it helps put him to sleep.

    Our LO, we thought, didn't like it too. Even in the Swaddle Me he would break out and he really likes his arms by his head so we stopped after week 2. Well, over this past week when he was running a fever I put him a light onsie to sleep but worried it might get too cold so we swaddled him in the Summer Swaddle Me and he slept so good! I thought it might have been the tylenol but last night he didn't have any tylenol and we swaddled him again and he went from 10 to 2:30 without nursing and sleeping in his pack n play (we have been bedsharing). I didn't sleep much at first but that's the most sleep I've had at one time since he's been born.
