Oooooo super pretty colours. They look great on you both.
As to your wrap, it looks pretty good to me. The only thing I would do differently as it makes it more comfortable for me, is to spread the "straps" more across his back as they come up to your shoulder, that way they cover his back more for more support rather than going up his side. Hope that makes sense.
Although I remember when LO was tiny that extra support not being such a big issue, and it being more neccessary as she got bigger and started to squirm.
