Anyone else hoping for a leap year baby?
I know no one is going to see this for a while. But I'm already out for this cycle so I'm focusing positive energy on next cycle (which will hopefully be medicated) the way my cycles run that would put my edd on Feb. 29 - Leap Year. I actually really like the idea. Anyone else have any thoughts?

I have pcos and do not ovulate on my own or hold a uterine lining. this is an unmedicated cycle due to cysts from the last few rounds of clomid. so absent some sort of unexplained by medical science miracle i am out for jan.
so becausei always choose to hope rather than not i am focusing on my and of may cycle which equals a leap year baby.
Yep, more than likely leap year babies celebrate his or her 1st b-day on the 28th.
That would be crazy to have an actual birthday only every 4 years. My friend's dad was a leap year baby. We were discussing how old we were once (a long time ago) and he said he was 12. Kinda funny.
REally hoping to be on this board in the future though. Although my EDD this cycle would be 2/9 ish.

My niece gets her birthday on the 28th most often- a different month is just cnfusing for a little peanut! I'm hoping too- I don't even care when in Feb- but hoping for 2012 since we've been trying for a while. GL ladies!

Today I am pregnant & I love my baby!
Lurker here as well. My son was born February 25, 2008 and was close to being a leap year baby. His due date was Feb 22, and I was induced, so he could have very well come on Feb. 29th had I tried to see if he would come on his own a little longer. However, I had mixed feelings on a leap day birthday and I picked the first available induction day because I was so excited for him to be born.
When I saw your post I was thinking, "its not time for another leap year yet". I cannot believe my baby will be 4 already next leap year.
Would love a February 2012 baby but with my cycle, it would be a Valentine's-ish birthday. My MIL would love that since her birthday is 2/14 and mine is 2/22 so we will see.
