We took Jack to the pedi last Friday. After spending some time talking to our pedi and explaining the constant crying, no naps, etc I think we may have gotten to the root of the problem. The poor guy has acid reflux.
I feel so stupid and like I should have figured it out ages ago. I guess I thought that since DD was the easiest baby of all time that Jack was just behaving like a normal if slightly fussy baby.
Since starting his medicine it's like a whole new baby. He plays, he's been napping longer, and thank tiny, infant Jesus he's letting other people hold him for more than 2 seconds.
This coupled with the 3 hour nap DH let me take on Saturday and I feel like a normal human again. Thanks ladies for letting me know I wasn't crazy!

The two men in my life. Oh, and I have a husband too...
I'm so glad you found out what the problem is & that baby Jack is feeling so much better!
I'm so glad it's such an "easy" fix. This is wonderful! Don't beat yourself up about not getting to it sooner, it's something so many overlook.
Enjoy your arms!
Francesca Pearl is here! Josephine Hope is almost 3!
I'm so glad you found out what it was and Jack is doing better. And that's great that you got the 3-hour nap and are feeling normal!
I don't think you should feel bad at all. It's so hard to know what's normal and what's not, and even if you ask, half the time you hear, "every baby is different!" The important thing is that you did ask, and now you know, and he's feeling better, now, too!
I think hearing every baby is different 5,000 times when I talked to family about his issues really made me feel like I was just making things up. I usually follow my instincts pretty well, I just thought this was a normal baby thing.
Just kidding, this one is better
