We're only trying to fill out our inquiry form and already have a question! ![]()
On our adoption inquiry form, it asks what financial resources we are planning to commit to our adoption plan. We have no idea what to put! I'd like to write, "Whatever it takes!" but I know we need a definite number. Any ideas? I don't want to lowball it, but I don't want to overshoot either. I know, I know . . . If I'm worried about this little detail then we have a long road ahead of us! TIA

Re: "financial resources" question
I'd call as well, but maybe they're meaning savings/fundraising/etc. BUT definitely call to verify an answer!
Is this from an agency or one of the lawyers I gave you??

If you could pay whatever it ends up being, find out where their fees usually top out and put that.
They ask because they don't want to present a situation to you that is outside of your budget.
