SAHDs?

It looks like my husband is wanting to do this.  Originally we had just planned on him staying home until September and then going to grad school and her going to daycare, but now he's re-thinking grad school and wanting to spend more time with DD.  Anyway, I caught him trying to look for SAHD groups earlier in the week, so thought I'd see if any of y'all knew any around town or if any of your DHs are SAHDs.  I don't know if he'd pursue these groups, but thought I'd try to gather a little info in case he really is interested.

    Mine isn't technically a sahd bc he works full-time, but he is with our girls during the day (works evenings). If we could swing it financially, he would sah full-time (he wants that, too). I've heard there's a sahd group on yahoo that is pretty active. J hasn't checked it out yet. He mostly gets out with the girls on his own. I think having a support group of other dads would be great though!

    Ditto this.  DH is home with DD during the day and works nights.  He is tired but loves it -- plus summer is coming and he will get a break because I will be home.  I have been trying to get DH involved in a SAHD group but he hasn't -- I think he is kinda scared of meeting all the other dads in a group.  I think it would be great for both DH and DD.  If your DH joins it, let me know.  I'd love to pass on his impressions on the group.
