The bebePOD is MUCH easier to clean because it's a completely smooth surface. The Bumbo has all these little dimples and you have to wipe pretty hard to really get it clean.
Neither. I think they are stupid and why do you think there are so many for sale on craigslist? What did parents ever use to get their kids to sit up 10 years ago before bumbo chairs?? Gimmicky.

We have a Bumbo that was given to us by a friend who's DD outgrew it about 2 weeks after buying it... It leg openings definitely don't seem very roomy for a chunky thigh kid... I wouldn't spend $40 on it, so look on craigslist, but I have gotten a ton of use out of it and DD is comfy sitting in it..
Yeah it's not that the Bumbos are super hard to clean, but nonetheless, the bebePOD is much easier! We had both and we preferred the bebePOD from every aspect.
If you haven't tried one, you can't say it's a waste of money, they're awesome and completely worth every dime! Of course there is always the odd baby that won't like it, so if you can, maybe try someone else's out before actually getting your own. The reason there are so many used ones for sale is because everyone buys them because they're great! But they can't be used much past 14 months, therefore you sell them when you're done. Seems logical to me
I have quite a few friends with babies, and every single one of them used a Bumbo or bebePOD and their kids all loved them.
We had the bebepod and used it often when DD began eating solids. We'd take it out with us for her to sit in when we had little picnics in the backyard or the park.

Re: Bumbo vs bebePOD
So far, I'm liking my Super Seat.
Plus, I think I'll get more use out of it.
