Long Horn (vent)

Just have to complain...DH and I went to Long Horn for lunch. When we walked in we could smell something funny, but thought nothing of it. Sat down, ate lunch, hour later I touched the wall. Stain came off. They stained the entire resteraunt, and finished 45 minutes before they opened. There was not sign/warning that there was wet stain. I am so mad that I was breathing in those toxic fumes for an hour without warning. When I complained, it was blown off. Momma bear is ready to go head hunting!!  I am so angry!!

    That is horrible! I would have lost my mind thats for sure. I dont know about stain but I know they tell moms not to paint while preg anymore. This may have changed since the last time I was preg too though. You never know whats safe anymore

    I would have been furious!!!! See if you can go to their corporate and write a complaint. That is ridiculous that they blew you off!! I hate Long Horn anyways... I saw the title and knew something was wrong. We always get terrible service when we go.

    I did write a complaint to corporate...we will see what happens. I told hubby we should have gone to Outback like I suggested :-)

    If it reeked that bad why didn't you leave? No one made you eat there, unless your family did at which point you can be pissed at them.

    When we smelled something "funny" I thought that they had just mopped or something, either way I thought the smell would go away and was not harmful. I never thought it would be stain! Of course once you are around smells for a little bit, you can't smell them anymore. There should have been a sign!! or some warning! I put my trust in them to make me aware if it was toxic fumes.  I would have gone somewhere else if I knew it was stain. It is that simple.
