What is everyone choosing to use for birth control once you get the green light (not that I am the least bit interested in sex)? I hate the pill, but haven't used anything else in the past.
I got an IUD and totally love it! My LO was conceive while on bc and since having him I have even been bad about taking my vitamin! So I knew i needed something I didnt have to even think about.
I am on nuvaring and love it! Put it in and keep it in for 3weeks take it out for a week and start over!
I was going to do the iud but my insurance did not cover it and with bills from the delivery still we couldn't afford 850 out of pocket!
I'm also using the NuvaRing. We are planning on TTC #2 within the next 2 years so it wasn't worth getting the IUD. But after #2, my plan is the IUD since it last up to 10 years.

I'm on the mini pill since I'm breastfeeding. I've heard there can be a higher chance of pregnancy while on the mini pill so we're also using condoms. We really don't want me to get pregnant for at least another year.
I'm breastfeeding and I have the shot (Depo Provera?). I love it! It was so not expensive because my insurance took a lot of the cost off, and I only have to get it every 3 months. After all the needles in me at the hospital, this shot really hardly was a prick to my skin (and I don't like shots). I can hardly remember my vitamins every other day, so the mini pill was SO not a good idea for me. We also use condoms because H freaks out about being safe lol
I'm getting Mirena again. I had it before getting pregnant and loved it. My insurance covers it except for a $33 co-pay and we aren't having more kids for a couple years at least.
I just started the mini pill and thought about Mirena. I may want to TTC next year so I am not sure it is worth the trouble to have it inserted and then taken out. I am bf'ng and but I am really afraid of getting pg too soon, especially since I had a C section and my Dr. advised to wait 18 months between deliveries.
My DH is planning on getting a vasectomy, but in the meantime I think I might do the nuvaring. Not sure exactly when he is getting the vasectomy since he hasn't gone to see his doctor yet.
