My poor baby

So A has had a cough, snotty nose for about 6 days now.  We've had early wakeups, but instead of the cold, I contributed it to his canines coming in.  Well last night he woke at 2:30 and 5.  When I got him at 5 he was burning...102 under the arm.  So at 9:30 we went to the dr.  Dr. said he may have the beginnings of pneumonia, but no ear infection.  She didn't think chest xray was worth the radiation and just gave him abx.  :/  Well at 5pm his fever was 102 again under the arm.  He is not himself and I feel so bad for him.  Please good thoughts and prayers for the antibiotics to work and him to get better fast!

    Oh no!  I hope the antibiotics kick in soon.  We were told it takes at least 24 hours, more like 48 to 72, so hopefully A will see some relief tomorrow.  Thinking of your little guy, and praying you see improvement by tomorrow morning.

    I'm so sorry, it is so hard when they are sick for so long! DD had probably pneumonia about a month ago, since she had a double ear infection at the time and the treatment is the same for pneumonia, our pedi didn't see the point in putting her through the chest xray. It sucks. :( Hope your little guy feels better soon.
