This may sound silly but the past week I've been peeing NONSTOP. Like literally every 30-45 minutes I have to go. I thought the baby had just dropped, therefore more pressure meant more frequent potty breaks. Today, though, even when I go pee I don't feel relieved. I feel like I could still go and like I'm still holding it. Anyone else experience this? It doesn't burn or anything, I just feel like I cannot get my bladder empty. I still assume it's pressure from the baby but it crossed my mind it could be the start of a UTI or something.

Re: Baby dropped or UTI
I am using so much TP! It is just so hard to feel clean/dry down below. I've been using flushable wipes which seems to be helping.
In our labor class, the lady said that usually your bladder holds 2 cups of urine...but when the baby drops, it can only hold 1/2 cup of urine. It is very possible that it is just the baby, and not a UTI.
I would, however, suggest talking to your doctor at your next appointment to make sure that that is what is going on rather than an infection. They should be able to tell you if the baby has dropped or not. They were able to tell me when it happened through measurements/an internal exam.
I was doing this when I started waking up in the middle of the night to go. I felt bad flushing every hour when I wake up, I felt like it was going to wake up DH. But as it turns out he is grossed out when he wakes up in the morning and there is pee in the toilet, so I had to start flushing again. LOL
Ah! good to know. Thanks! I'm sure it's probably just from the baby, but I go back for another check up on Monday so I'll ask the doctor to make sure!
