SAIF / PAIF question re. Guaifenesin / Mucinex

Hello ladies,

I am visiting you from TTCAL.  

First, I would like to say I greatly appreciate the pain of struggling with infertility issues, and I realize that most of you have had many interventions above and beyond what I am asking about.  However, I thought that some of you may have experience with using Guaifenesin at some point. 

I was wondering if you might be willing to share you thoughts.  When did you start taking it?  Did you notice any difference in CM? Any success stories?

    I just wanted tinsay that I'm terribly sorry for your loss. As for your question, I tried it but it was so long ago I don't recall what happened to my CM.
    Beautiful Miracle Baby lost at 21 weeks due to pre-term labor and incompetent cervix. FET#1 BFN, FET#2 BFP, early loss. FET#3 BFN. IVF#2 BFFN.     I actually did notice a difference. I used it before going to see an RE and never had CM, but taking it helps. I followed the dosage on the package (which I forget what it was now) and started about 5 days before O. It worked right away. If you are not sure when you O, starting at AF will not hurt you. I took Mucinex which is in pill form so I did not have to deal with chugging Robitussin. Good luck!
