  ask your pedi.  Mine said 1/2 ds's body weight, so for my 6wo who is almost 12 lbs(!!!), he should get about 6oz

  My daughter takes 4 oz every 2.5-3 hrs

  I give the same amount as you. A couple of times he acted like he was still hungry after a 3.5oz bottle so I BFed him to top him off.

  DS takes 3-4 oz every 3 hours.

  The guidline is 2-2.5 oz per pound  a day.  So if your baby weighs 7 lbs they should be eating 14-17.5 oz a day.

  However, my DD still doesn't eat as much as she should & she is still growing just fine. As long as your baby is satisfied & is gaining weight than they are eating enough.

  He was always hungry after 3.5 so we just started giving him 4.5 - 5 oz, which he usually finishes. ?He is almost 11 lbs though...
