A female name that suits siblings named...

Melanie, Sean and Hailey.

Any thoughts on female FNs that goes well with that set?

Nutmeg, cilantro, sage, mint, thyme... these are a few of my favorite things! Visit The Nest!Visit The Nest! We have four children; one left us too soon.

  • Can someone please explain to me the rationale behind "sibling sets?" I am not making a collection here. My children are their own people -- their names are not meant to match. The only thing I'd be worried about is making sure their names DON'T match -- rhyme or etc.

I think it's more about styles going together, at least for me.  If you've got a Brinleigh, you probably won't name your son George.  No, kids are not a collection, but I like sibsets that are reminiscent of the same style, ethnicity, popularity, etc.

It also just gives people an idea of what type of names they already like.

  • Of course they are their own people. Sibsets are names that compliment each other. Like a great purse that finishes an outfit.

If you have names like Amelia, Elizabeth and Henry naming your fourth child Phoenix is kind out out there...Just like a red purse with your teal outfit.

No one is suggesting naming their kids Kenneth, Kendall and Kendra. We are not talking matchy matchy, we are talking names that will not stand out from the rest.

A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

  • Grace, Elise, Leah, Emma, Colleen, Audrey, Claire, Lillian, Rachel, Lila, Nicole, Jennifer, Natalie, Courtney, Whitney, Stephanie, Jessica

  • I agree to steer away from the EE sound in your third daughter to avoid their names getting too confusing and rhyming.

Suggestions: Amanda, Jane, Anna, Michelle, Sarah, Melissa, Natalia, Megan, Madeline.
