I am still in shock...

Last week on Tuesday I went in for my first appt. My midwife did an ultrasound, pap, all the first time appt things. She put in for my labs but wanted another ultrasound to confirm dating as I was measuring 5 days behind what I should have been. So, today I went for that ultrasound. The heartbeat is gone and the little baby bean has not grown since a few days after I saw her. I knew it right away. The tech asked me if there was a heartbeat last week and I said yes. I watched her do everything she could to find one and just knew what she had to tell me. 

I went and saw my doc immediately, she gave me my options and by Tuesday at the latest this will all be over.

I have 2 boys already and both pregnancies where happy and healthy through the whole thing. I didnt worry for a minute. I never thought "I" would be a part of this club. Sure does show how much we are not in control here.

    And if anyone can tel me how to delete my ticker that would be fabulous. I put it on but cant for the life of me figure out how to get it off.

    I'm so sorry for your loss. I never even got to see my baby on the u/s, I m/c the day before it was scheduled. (((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))

     

    If you click on "my bump" there will be a new page. Top left corner you click on "Edit Avatar and Signature" at the bottom of that page is your signature block. Just delete it from there. I don't remember how to remove the stupid thing from your homepage that says how far along you are, though. I'm really sorry.

    I am so sorry for your loss but you are in a wonderful place full of loving women who know how horrible this is.

     Only thing I would add to PP telling you about ticker is that you often have to re login on the my bump page. To get the countdown crap off, you have to email community@thebump.com. There is no other way to take care of it. Some glitch in their system.
