    I am really cheap when it comes to bags and probably have never spent over $30 on a purse (with the exception of a $120 purse DH got me). Since I realize that I will probably only use the purse for a season and get bored with it I usually go to Target, Kohls and T.J.Maxx. Like I said, they arent going to be anything too fancy but its fun to get something new and different each season and for $30 or less it doesnt break the bank.

    I like vera and they aren't to bad on price...plus you can wash them!  If you want to spend a lil more the coach outlet has great deals.  TJ maxx also has some great deals on cute stuff.  Good luck!

    I really want a Coach, but doing that with a 2 yr old scares me.  My purse is her dump it in there bag.  I see sticky suckers and nasty stuff in my near future.  DS ruined an expensive bag with a sucker when he was little.  I am scarred.  Someone convince me to do it.

    All of their bags are washable too.   They're not sophisticated, but they're definitely cute.  I can't remember who the consultant was that sold me mine...  but I can find out if you want.

    Do it...Do it! I got a coach purse not too long ago and stuck DD's sippy cup in it. Of course I didn't put the lid on tight and the ENTIRE thing of water spilled into my new bag. The only thing that got ruined was my cell phone (so I got a smartphone out of it)! My bag dried out perfectly!! I say go for it!

    Kohl's has a lot of them on sale right now.  My cheapo Target bag bit the dust, so I went in search of a new one yesterday and bought a Dana Buchman handbag originally $80 for $22!  Cha-ching!  (I had a coupon too).

    I agree that Coach bags hold up really well.  My oldest is about 10 years old and in great condition.

    Coach has an extra 30% off at the outlet through 4.25 :)  I have one leather Coach bag that still looks brand new.  I have one signature as well that has held up fine, but the leather one is fantastic.

    I also like Vera Bradley bags, you can find them in good used condition as well at Second Chance in Beckett Ridge/West Chester or by Outback on Rt 4 in Springdale, or actually at Plato's Closet.  You can always get a good deal on something more reasonable at Kohl's.

    Honestly, I find that a good quality handbag will last you forever. That said (and since I'm not one to change my purse like I change my underwear), it's one of the few things I don't mind spending a few hundred dollars to purchase. I've had my Michael Kors handbag for almost 3 years and it is just now starting to show a little wear (and I am NOT careful/gentle with it, at all).
