Having some serious mommy guilt

Harry and Alex have no easter outfits.  Not even a Carter's onesie that says My First Easter.

I've been out of work for almost 3 weeks now and I couldn't get my act together to get them some outfits.  What is wrong with me?

I ran to 5 stores today, nothing!!!  Seriously, there was a run on easter outfits for boys?  WTF?  I finally found 2 blazers at The Children's Place, but they are 12months.  I tried them on the boys when I got home and it was ginormous (I guess I'll save them for the wedding in July since I got them for cheap).

UGH!!!  What will they wear!

Me: PCOs DH: Perfect!
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!

    Yep - went to Gap, Gymboree, Target, Marshall's, Kohl's, and The Children's Place.

    I did pick up a lot of good random stuff on sale.  I guess we could just do dress shirts and pants.

    I recently saw cute stuff at TJMaxx and Marshalls. They had really cute button down plaid shirts, with sweater vests, and dress pants.

    Try baby depot in Burlington coat factory or Penny's? I feel like they always have dressy outfits already together. Also, if you want a onesie, Michaels or AC Moore have iron on patches that say My First Easter and could put it on an existing shirt. That's what I do with DD 's stuff.

    Oh, you are not alone.

    G will most likely wear a dress on Sunday but that is only because my in laws bought her a custom made dress that is almost too small and she has never worn it (and we will be going to their club for brunch) otherwise, I find it pretty impractical to put her in something like that when she is going to be running around like a lunatic all day searching for eggs on a farm.  It's about the day, not the outfit.  Make sure they are clean and comfortable and you are doing a great job!

    I am just doing a dress shirt and pants.  We have a sweater vest, but I am sure that won't stay on long. 

    actually, I bet the whole get up won't stay on too long....

    I don't have one either...  I did buy a cute straw hat, but he will just be wearing it with some of his normal clothes..maybe jeans and a white button down...  I guess I'm a bad mommy too! ;)

    We did not buy new outfits for Easter.. I feel like a bad mom, but they are only going to wear them to get dirty! Don't worry about it! Dress them cute, and be glad you saved some $$

    NO GUilt! Your a great mom and those boys are so lucky to have you as there mom.

    But I do know how you feel..I didn't forgot to take a picture of Jake in his Passover onsie the other night and and I still haven't gotten professional pictures taken of him and he is almost a year. I need to get on this.

    But seriously don't worry. They will look cute in whatever you get them for Sundays festivities!

    NO guilt allowed! I agree with others who said just to find something cute and dressy. The only reason ours are going to have cute outfits is b/c my awesome BIL got them clothes from Janie & Jack for their birthday. They'll wear the clothes for pics, and then will promptly change into something that can get dirty!

    Don't feel bad!! DD had some bunny ears last year... no Easter outfit. She has a dress she could wear for Easter but we're really not doing anything so I don't see a point. We will probably go to an Easter egg hunt tomorrow, but I'm not going to dress her up for that!

    This is Nicholas' 3rd Easter- he has never had an "Easter Outfit".  He is just going to wear khakis and a nice button shirt that he already has.  I wasn't going to buy something he'll only wear once.

    I was going to put Ava in a "My First Easter" Sleeper, but couldn't find any.   She is wearing a cute little cotton dress that she'll also be able to wear this spring/summer.

    I got DS easter outfit a day before easter last year at Sears. I had no idea what cute outfits they had before going there out of desperation.  Oh and bonus, it was on sale!!!

    A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
    After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
    My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

    I wish I had forgotten and left it to last minute. See my post above.

    BRU had some cute button downs and sweater vests. That was originally the road I was going to take before my mom took over. 

    They will look adorable in whatever you put them in!
