Getting my equipment ready....

Hey ladies

     Started temping today (on CD 9 so I hope its not too late in my cycle)  and I've been reading through some of the posts and see many recommend drinking green tea and POM juice.  Went out earlier and stocked up....so now my question is : how much is it recommended to drink each day? 1 cup of each? 2 cups?  Just wondering if it mattered or not.  THanks!

    I drink about 1 juice glass full of pom. juice in the morning.  Sometimes I mix the same amount into a larger glass with water, but I don't mind it on it's own.

    I like to drink a cup or two of green tea each day.

    TTC since 2008
    Dh:34, no issues.  Me:31, Endo, slightly hypothyroid, deformed ovary, paracentric inversion.
    4 Gonal-F, Cetrotide, HcG, Crinone +TI cycles= all BFN
    Lap in 2012 to remove large unresolving cyst discovered endo and double lobed ovary.
     6 Gonal-F, Cetrotide, HcG, Crinone IUI cycles= All BFN,
    1st IVF w/ICSI- June '13 Antagonist: Gonal-F, Menopur, Ganirelix, HcG, Estradiol, Crinone= 7 retrieved, 4 mature, 1 unfertilized, 2 abnormally fertilized, 1 normally fertilized.  2DT of only embryo and our miracle BFP.
    Our beloved baby boy was born sleeping Oct. 13, 2013 due to pROM/IC/Uterine infection.
    2nd IVF w/ICSI- Feb. '14 EPP/lupron/antagonist: Estrace, lupron, HGH, Gonal-F, Menopur, HcG, PIO, lovenox, doxy/dex.=21 retrieved, 16 mature, 15 fertilized!!  5dt of 1 blast/ 6 frozen. BFP!  Beta 1 9dp5dt:83.9  Beta 2: 11dp5dt: 145.2  Beta 3  14dp5dt: 497  Please be our sticky rainbow baby!

    Good luck!

    I do 8 oz of Pom every day, and do about 2 cups of green tea daily. I measure and chug the Pom since I'm not a major fan of the taste. Anyone know where to get the Pom for cheaper? I didn't expect it to be so expensive! I think my bottles are $10.99 at Target so it's going to add up quick. Anyone know if Sams Club sells it in bulk?

     2/11/13 - DEmbryo FET #1 Thawed four, sadly two didn't survive. Transferred two beautiful blasts. 
     2/16/13 - First BFP of my life @ 6dp5dt! EDD 10/30/13
     3/27/13 - After beta and u/s hell, no heartbeat ever detected. D&C at 9w1d.

    6/5/13 - Adopted four new embryos that had been frozen for seven years!      
    9/12/13 - DEmbryo FET #2. Thawed and transferred two beautiful blasts
    9/17/13 - BFP @ 5dp6dt! EDD 05/31/14
     9/29/13 - m/c @ 5w1d. :(

    11/19/13 - DEmbryo FET #3. Thawed and transferred one blast from each batch. Wow!
     11/23/13 - BFP @ 4dp6dt! EDD 8/7/13
    Beta #1 @ 13dp6dt - 522  Beta #2 @ 16dp6dt - 1373 
    6w5d ultrasound showed one perfect baby with a beautiful heartbeat of 134bpm!

    Snowflake baby is a girl! 
    Our beautiful Snowflake girl arrived on July 22, 2014!

    I just bought some pomegranate juice (not Pom brand) today at Whole Foods. I don't remember the price, but there's no way it was 10.99... I hope I would've noticed that!

    Walmart sells bolthouse farms brand in quart size. its 17c per oz and POM is 22c. the largest they sell their is 42oz and $10.88 so if you get two of the bolt house ones you get 64 oz for the same price. its still expensive but every bit helps right?

    Cool, I had no idea. I'm willing to spend the $$ because you're right - every little bit helps. I just like to know I'm not paying pointlessly when it's cheaper elsewhere. Glad I asked and got the tip. Thanks!
