Survey: What will you do with all that free time...

When you are done pumping at work? 

I can't wait to leave work earlier, have more time to take DD for walks or play outside in the evening.  I'm trying to go EBM until a year (Aug) but I might stop pumping in July just so I can have more time with DD over the summer.

That and I'd like to go out for lunch once in a while.  I think I've gone out for lunch twice since I've been back from ML.

    DS will be 4 months next week so I've got a while before I stop pumping at work.  But I can't wait to be able to run errands during my lunch again.  And get in a little exercise by walking (when it's not atrociously hot out, that is).

    Oh, I will also rejoice at having one less thing to lug around and rejoice at having one less set of items to wash in the evenings.

    I fantasize about this often.  I felt so much lighter after I weaned DD.  I think I'll probably only go to 10m of pumping with DS.  6 more weeks...!!! 

    ETA:  I say that, but I'll probably chicken out and end up feeling too guilty!

    Me too.  I want to stop pumping, or cut down to once a day but I feel guilty too!

    I've been working out in the gym in my building over lunch. Or running errands, or actually going out to lunch! And not having to wash everything in the evenings, make bottles, etc.....it's really been so nice.

    I pumped up until DS was a year. I must say, I look back and think, how the heck did I do that? I was also telling DH the other day, it's been so nice not pumping/nursing (DS self weaned about 2.5 weeks ago), I don't think I want to BF our next LO!! Kidding....or am I???? Embarrassed

    I haven't even allowed myself to dream, I still have 6 more months!!!  But, I'm thinking I'll be able to hit the gym once in awhile.  Oh yeah, and actually get my work done in a timely fashion.

    I can't imagine not having to wash parts, lug that bag around, remember to pack everything, set up at my desk, etc.

    I'm the same way.. August will be a year, but I don't want to be so tied down in the summer. I'm taking it one day at a time, but early July sounds like a great time to wean. It's sad and exciting at the same time!

    It will be nice not to have to try to schedule meetings and site visits around when I want to pump.   I will be really excited to not have to carry the pump around and not having to wash parts all the time.

    I'm a teacher, so I pump on my plan time and at lunch.  I will be happy to eat lunch with other adults again, and I will use my plan time to do actual work!  I'll be thrilled to not have to put grades in and make copies and call parents on my "free" time after school.
