Mac N Cheese w/A1 sauce to induce labor?

Anyone heard of this working? i couldn't find the actual recipe. My sister heard about this when she was overdue (she doesn't eat mac and cheese so this was out of the question) and remembered it today and told me about it. I love mac and cheese but A1 sauce-gag me. I googled and found this:

I don't know about it but that sounds horrendous. FWIW it seems that most of these foods that "induce labor" really just cause diarrhea.

I would say ill try anything, but this may even have a desperate me putting the brakes on. However I did crave, and consume, twizzlers dipped in a1!

cravings and forced eatin are completely different!

I used to love Mac n Cheese with ketchup as a kid. I think a little A1 sounds yummy actually.

Dh and I love it! we eat it all the time just mix it all together really good. Its yummy lol

IDK how well that would work. DH always "accidentally" puts ketchup on his mac n cheese when we have it. It makes me gag just looking at it, but he loves it.

I've heard from several nurse friends that there's only one thing that you can induce labor pretty reliably and that it is a HORRIBLE idea -- mineral oil. It works by causing such abdominal cramping that your body decides it's time for baby to go, but if that doesn't sound bad enough, next comes the explosive diarrhea.

My OB's nurse was joking with me about the different things that women do to self-induce and when she got to that one, she wouldn't even say it until I did. Then she got all serious and was like "do. not. do.that."

I could drink A1 straight I love it so much. No idea what it'd taste like on mac n cheese but if I was overdue I'd have a nice little excuse to try it
