I pretty much ignored these posts when I was pregnant. DD sleeps GREAT in her papasan seat. In a PnP or Co-Sleeper? Not so much.
We've been bedsharing, but I'm too tired for that, too.
So tell me about the RnP. They sleep in it all night? And that's safe? It looks like a seat that's high off the floor, haha.
Is it wonderful? Yay or Nay? I need her to have somewhere to sleep at night! lol
Re: Ok, I bite. Tell me about the RnP.
My DD sleeps in the RnP all night. She doesn't like to lay flat, and it's on an incline so she sleeps really well in it. We've had no problems with it. You can strap your LO in like you would in your swing, but at this point she doesn't roll or anything so we don't use it. It holds up to 25 lbs, but I'll transition her to her crib well before then! Plus, it's extremely portable and folds flat.
Hope that helps!
The RnP saved my life!
Seriously though, we were lucky to get 3 hours at a time in the bassinet or PnP (usually more like 1 hour). The first night in the RnP DD slept 5 hours! And everynight since then at LEAST a 4 hour stretch (and as much as 7 hours at a time!) It's worth a try - just save the receipt and take it back if your LO doesn't take to it. But ours did - and I've said several times now that it's the best $50 I ever spent!
Good luck!
