Happy to report the 35 week appt went well. I've gained a total of 7 lbs (which shocks me, then again I puked for 28 weeks on/off). Now I feel great!
The babys head is down and he is in a transverse position, which MD said was good. I didn't think transverse was good, but okay, plus I have 5 weeks and 2 days left (until Due date) in order for him to turn. He really pressed hard to find babys head. I thought ouch and I am not sensitive.
He answered all of my Qs and left me wondering about why they leave up if I think the baby feels bigger or smaller, then they schedule an ultrasound. I thought it was odd. How can I remember if he feels bigger than DD. Every pregnancy is different. I'd like to know if my baby might be approx 6-8-10 lbs, hello MD, lol. I am hoping to have a VBAC. I have written a birth plan and was starting to discuss it and he was like, oh...yeah patients here don't write birth plans. I was like isn't that a good idea. He said yes and they already do what I want, however no need to write one. Thought that was odd.
Thanks for listening ladies!
Re: 35 weeks Check Up
Yay for good appointments!!!
I have very little on my birth plan, but I have one.
Basically the important stuff... like medicated birth, nobody in Labor room except my husband, the fact that i plan to breast feed, and a list of my current medications, last RHO shot, and my blood type/doctor list.
