30W appointment w/ growth U/S

Well today I had my 30W appointment and my growth U/S as a follow up to my 28W appt. where I was measuring big.  Good news is the baby is on track/a little big.  Tomorrow I will officially be 30W and the average weight is about 3lbs, the baby was measuring about 3.5lbs, and all other measurements were just a little bit above the 30W measurements, but not by much.  So the doctor was happy with that, also the fact that I measured right on for 30W.  They were concerned about my weight as I had gained about 35lbs so far, but passed my 3 hour so I don't have GD, this time I only gained like a 1/2lb, so that was nice. 

However, I found out that I am anemic, not big deal; I know it happens a lot, so I just need to pick up some iron pills to take.  On the not so good side, my BP is back up again.  It was 144/80.  They did recheck it before I left and it dropped to 140/80, not much, but it was at least 140.  So now I am to come to work and go home and do pretty much nothing but rest.  Since I am on to two week appointments, I don't have to go back in for a BP check.  I'm hoping that it drops and with me relaxing will help this, because the way the doctor talked if I worked at a job where I was on my feet a majority of the day, I would not have been going back full time. 

 So I'm happy that the baby is measuring on track and not too big, but upset that my BP is up once again (my last few appointments it had dropped back to normal).  So now I guess rest it is so I can try and avoid bed rest at all costs and keep me and LO healthy.
