anyone have WIC

I have it for DD and i was recently had to switch her formula from good start to similac and was wondering if anyone knew if all brands are covered or only certain ones.. i have an apt on wed i can find out then but i was just curious to see if anyone on here knew..

  • Depends on your state. Where I live, unless you need a non milk based fomula (like soy or nutramigen) they won't cover regular similac or enfamil. But like I said, all states have diff policies.

  • It will say on your voucher what you can buy with your ?WIC. It varies from state to state, but if you have questions, contact your WIC office.

    I know what you meant. The vouchers don't list anything they might possibly cover, only what you are currently getting. I would call tomorrow and ask if they cover similac soy if you pedi writes you a prescription. you should be able to get at least that information over the phone. I'm sure it's frustrating to have to wait til Wednesday.
