Babies on the Brain

temptingly large Crate & Barrel box arrived but A is at work

I did not order anything, nor am I expecting anything ... but A won't be home for hours and it is taunting me. She doesn't know anything about it either.

I need to wait, right?

????  :):):):)  Well that is entirely unnecessary and silly, but now I am even more excited! I won't untie the bow or unwrap or anything, but I just did take it out of the packing box. Thank you!

  • I have to admit A will probably enjoy it more, I'm kind of jealous, TBH. And the fact that it isn't necessary makes it more fun!

  • I love packages.  It's kind of killing me that you are waiting to open it.

I have been known to open a package to find out what it is and then tape it back up for DH to open when he gets home.

I'm the same way with mail.  Even if it says who/what company it's from on the envelope (and even if it's a bill) I have to open it and see what it says.

When A gets kitchen stuff, we all win :)

It's killing me too, but A gets just as excited as I do and I dare not wreck it for her.

I am the exact same way.

  • It's kind of ridiculous, but I have printer cartridges coming and I am SO EXCITED because I haven't gotten a package in awhile.

I also have business cards coming, but that is less pathetic because they are not lame like printer cartridges.

Sometimes when I order stuff from amazon I tick the box that says "ship my items as they become available (may result in more shipments)" just so if they don't have everything at once I get more packages.

    ? Such a loser.
