BEST: Safari in Africa AMAZING! Wish I could go again.

Place I want to go: I have a long list. Tahiti over water room, Africa again maybe a different part, Europe northern Italy, Europe cruise, Austrilia.

Bad vacation: I went with a friend to Puerto Vallarta and we just didn't click travel style wise. He wanted to leave after just 2 days and it was not fun.

What is the best vacation you have ever taken? Cruise to the Bahamas, St. Thomas and St. Martin. We loved it.

If you could travel anywhere where would you go? Who would you take with you? I would love to go on another cruise with DH.

Have you ever been on a bad vacation? If yes explain One year after high school 7 of my friends and I went to Canada and got 1 hotel room. 8 girls in a small hotel room is not fun. We wanted more $$ for booze. We never thought about 8 girls hungover in 1 small room. lol

What is the best vacation you have ever taken? Probably my whirlwind 5 country backpacking trip to Europe in 2000....ah-mazing. I caught the bug BAD and have been back 3 times since.

If you could travel anywhere where would you go? Who would you take with you? I am dying to return to Ireland, and only bring DH and DS with me. We will go, but will wait until he's older so he can remember it. We have family there!

Have you ever been on a bad vacation? If yes explain. Cancun with my little sister, my treat. It was alright, but I can only lie in the sun for so long. The town was gross so we were basically stuck at the resort. We did not go wild and crazy at all sadly (her 18th). And she met a guy there and had a great time while I was basically all alone. Yeah, she's a tad selfish.

Best Vacation: 17 days in Ireland, England and Italy. We went in 2004 for a wedding and even though the entire thing was a comedy of errors (transportation-wise) we had an amazing time.

Vacation(s) I Want: I have such a long list, it's ridiculous. I would LOVE to go back to Italy, and I really want to go to France, Spain and Greece too. Also, my dream relaxing vacay is to stay in an overwater bungalow in Bora Bora. DH and I travel really well together, so I'll let him come. Stick out tongue

Also, I think doing a massive girls trip to somewhere beachy and tropical would be amazing. Perhaps Hawaii, so we can see Tanya. Smile

Bad Vacation: I can't really think of any, fortunately.

Best Vacation: So many good ones, but all-inclusive Honeymoon in Mexico, golfing vacation in Arizona....

Vacation(s) I Want: Would love to go back to Italy, go to Africa and a couples vacation to an all inclusive in the Caribbean....

Bad Vacation: I went on a "senior trip" after graduation from high school with my best friend to Mazatlan, we were at a crummy hotel with ants all over our room, no one was staying at the hotel and we couldn't get the patio door to lock so we barricaded it every night so no one would come in. We couldn't figure out how to call home without calling collect (my parents had a $100 charge!) and we went on a Banana boat when apparently no one else was out b/c of sharks and my friend ended up with a concussion and we ended up at a mexican doctor. It was quite the adventure!

What is the best vacation you have ever taken? Probably our honeymoon. It was 7 days in Ohau and a 2 week roadtrip to the grandcanyon.

If you could travel anywhere where would you go? Who would you take with you? I wanted to go to Tahati with DH and I guess LO now!

Have you ever been on a bad vacation? If yes explain. Went on a family trip to the Phillipines to visit family. We were limited on where we could go since everyone was afraid that we would get kidnapped. Also there was 8 of us and we got seperated and no way to contact each other. We did end up getting back together, but that was scary!

What is the best vacation you have ever taken?

Very hard to choose. Between Fiji when I was 22 w/ my then boyfriend...so not my husband but I mean it was Fiji for 10 days and I was 22 - so fun. Or a 10 trip to the Carribean to visit my friend who lived there. Or a 10 day trip to Chile and Argentina with my husband and another couple friend - that was pretty awesome. Business class the whole way, amazing hotels and winery tours...that was like our Honeymoon do-over so I think that wins.

OH yeah reading PP - I forgot about Ireland. DH and I spent about 3 weeks in London and then traveling Ireland w/ a friend's wedding in the middle in County Clare. So fun - love it there.

If you could travel anywhere where would you go? Who would you take with you?

Right now I really just want to go on an all girls trip w/ my mom and/or closest friends to somewhere sunny. No kids, no husbands. :-)

So any travel w/ children under the age of 3 is not a vacation for the mom. We went to Cape Cod & Martha's Vineyard for a week w/ DS when he was 15 months and it was just a lot of work most of the time plus I was 10 weeks pregnant. While it was lovely there and not bad just work...not vacation.

What is the best vacation you have ever taken? Probably a tie between travels within Australia and honeymoon in Maui.

If you could travel anywhere where would you go? Who would you take with you? I would love to go back to Australia with DH, or on of the Virgin Islands. Then again I would love to go back to Maui too. So many options, so little money and time off.

Have you ever been on a bad vacation? If yes explain Hmmm, I can't think of any, thankfully. I did break my foot once while visiting relatives out here for Christmas, so that was crappy, but the rest of the visit was good.

What is the best vacation you have ever taken? 10 Days in Paris in 2000-2001. I was there participating in the New Year's Day Parade. 10 days was not long enough, but I was 15 and it was AMAZING!If you could travel anywhere where would you go? Who would you take with you? I am reeeeeeally hoping to go to Vegas with my girlfriends in June for a Bachelorette Party. How sad that the idea of a vacation is 3 days!I would also love to go to Italy with DH and DD. I'd love to do England, Greece, Italy and Fiji as well, and those I would like to do with no kids. Have you ever been on a bad vacation? If yes explain It was less of a vacation and more of a road trip. One of my BFF's boyfriend was in a Drum Corps competition where they traveled for the summer competing. We followed them for part of their CA stretch, and for some reason we were both pretty miserable. We love each other dearly (she is still one of my BFFs!) but we fought and were just mostly irritated with each other the whole time. Maybe we were PMSing?? =P

What is the best vacation you have ever taken? Month long honey moon in 2007. We went to New Zealand for 2 weeks and Morea, Tahiti for two weeks. We stayed in a over water bungalo. It was amazing. New Zealand will be a place I go back to visit for sure. The nicest people ever, and beautiful terrain. If you could travel anywhere where would you go? Who would you take with you? Oh well I loe to travel. So many places sound great. But since it has been freezing somewhere warm. I am down for an all girls trip to Hawaii! Let me know when you are ready to book Michelle. But I would love to go to New York, paris, back to New Zealand! I would also love to go to Italy with DH and DD. I'd love to do England, Greece, Italy and Fiji as well, and those I would like to do with no kids. Have you ever been on a bad vacation? If yes explain I don't think I have ever had a bad vacation. I think the one that was the toughest was when we went on a cruise with two other couples. Hailey was 6 months old and I was still breast feeding. I had to pumpevery 2-3 hours since my supply was already sucky! I cried a lot! Freaking hormones!

What is the best vacation you have ever taken? 2004. Prague, Vienna and Budapest with a friend. We met online and we still pretty new friends when we took this trip. We're the perfect travel partners. We would kick azz on the Amazing Race. The words "You're pretty" can stop any disagreement in its tracks. We're both married with babies now, but hopefully we'll be able to take a trip together again.

If you could travel anywhere where would you go? Who would you take with you? We have quite the long list of future vacations. The farthest out we've planned is Italy when DS goes to sleep away camp.

Have you ever been on a bad vacation? If yes explain Last june I went to Denver to visit my travel buddy friend. her baby was 2mo old and it was jsut a bad time. the baby was sick, she was nervous about a toddler around the baby, it was cold. Not what I expected at all.

Best vacation: hmm, any vacation is great. DH war to vist his family in Ireland and took off to tour the country for a week while we were there. Loved just using the map and finding our way, with no real destination. Actually dinner at a different family members house every night was pretty awesome. He has 6 aunts and uncles (plus their spouses) and 25 cousins in Dublin and we had an amazing time.

we also went port tasting in Portugal for 9 days. Visiting various Quintas(wineries) and amazing dinners all for free was awesome! (it was a work trip for DH..we had been dating 9months)

we want to take the kids to Ireland to see DH's homeland when they are old enough. We want to tke them all over Europe actually.

worst, probably with a "friend" in Mexico. We had a great time, but he was a friend with benefits and all I could think about was my ex I recently broke up with and wished I was there with him. At least the benefits were amazing. (and much needed to take my mind off the ex)

What is the best vacation you have ever taken? Probably a tie between a 4 week trip to Europe in 2004 as well as 2 weeks on a cruise to the Mediterranean in 2008.

If you could travel anywhere where would you go? Who would you take with you? I would love to go to Hawaii again with DH & DS. Would also love to go to Dubai.

What is the best vacation you have ever taken? I grew up in Europe and my mom would take every school vacation to take us somewhere...one summer we drove from Germany to Greece and camped at a campground on the beach - it was awesome!! My best vacation with DH was when we rode the motorcycles to Montana and he proposed at the top of a mountain!!

If you could travel anywhere where would you go? Who would you take with you? I love to travel so ANYWHERE with DH and kiddos...especially somewhere warm and adventurous - South America? Africa? Russia (ok, maybe not warm there but adventurous!)

Have you ever been on a bad vacation? If yes explain My ex husband was a pain in the arse to vacation with - anything less than 2 weeks "wasn't worth it" and 2 weeks of him bitching about everything the whole time meant we didn't take a vacation in 10 years. I took the kids to Disney by myself because it was less than 2 weeks.

I took TWO vacations in one month after the divorce...

What is the best vacation you have ever taken? It's a toss up between the three week road trip across Spain and my two trips to Belize. I traveled to Spain with my BFF and her family. We went all over the country, starting in Barcelona and ending in Madrid. I went to Belize twice to vist my DH while he was in a version of the Peace Corps. During my first trip to Belize, we went to Tikal Guatamala and got to see the famous Mayan ruins. On my second trip to Belize, we went to Ambergris Caye and spent a fabulous week on the beach.

If you could travel anywhere where would you go? Who would you take with you? I really want to go to England, Ireland, Paris, The Netherlands, and Rome.

Have you ever been on a bad vacation? If yes explain. Yes. When I was 14, my grandparents took my brother and I to Victoria, BC. It was fun during the day, but at night, it was a different story. Let's just say that I slept in the bath tub with my walkman blasting in order to avoid the dueling snoring.
