Free Diapers

I signed up to do diaper studies through P&G, but was declined because apparently my husband's place of employment is a conflict of interest.

If you participate in the diaper studies, you get a free box of diapers each time you do the study. I have a friend who has never paid for diapers because she always participates.

Some of this involves freezing diapers, doing surveys, etc.

If anyone wants the info, leave your email address and I will gladly forward it to you!

  • Interesting that your husband's employer is a conflict of interest - I guess we wouldn't qualify either.  Boo :(

I know! I have no idea how the financial industry would have anything to do with diapers! I just got the letter today, I was bummed.

It is due to the fact that when you are participating in a survey and/or study, you are privied to insider knowledge of a company. The company is most likely testing a new product/service that has yet to see the market shelves. If you as a participant see that this product will bring market share or increase revenues/stocks for said company, you could then begin to move stocks around to invest in said company and make a profit off of it. Essentially you are buying stocks at a low price before they shoot up from a new product launch.

Also, spouses are denied due to the fact that you can easily share this information through a basic conversation that could begin to turn the wheels of the spouse who works in the financial industry.

    Make sense?

Definitely makes sense. I just don't see how that's any different from anyone who invests their money, whether or not they are in the industry.
