I bought some marshmallow eggs and little choclate bunnies (Hershey's). I was actually looking for Kit Kats and Twix but I couldn't find them. Also, peanut butter eggs would work too.
I only have 6 eggs for DS and I doubt he will eat even that candy, plus he will get a bunch from the grandparents.

I bought the Brach's Easter circus peanut type thingys...Riley loves them! I just will put one in each egg. They are soft and chewy and make only minimal mess!

I was at the store yesterday and was buying goldfish crackers as DS loves them for a snack and I got the idea to put them his easter eggs! I don't really want to do candy because most likely I would be eating it, so this will be my "healthier" alternative.

The ones filled with edible things:chocolate chips, Annie's fruit snacks, bunny grahams.
Others I will fill with little toys like Weebles, Little People, Sidewalk chalk shaped like eggs (I am making them), Jello Playdough (making that too), the bath capsules that turn into animal shaped sponges. I think that's all I have
1 y.o. and 3 y.o. here. Peanut butter eggs (big hit with both), goldfish, cheerios. I may do some special candy eggs for the 3 y.o., since she can eat more stuff. As for mommy's eggs: cadbury mini eggs and ferrero rochers! LOL
Re: Repetitive ? about Easter egg stuffing. Sorry. :-(

What about mini Air Heads? You could break off bits of it pretty easy for your one year old.

This is what we are doing.
