Chicco front carrier users

When you have DC in it facing forward, how do you keep the flap folded down?  It wouldn't stay down for me... I wish there was some sort of thing that snapped or velcro'd to keep it down.

    My husband uses it and said he folded it down once and then snapped it at the top. He said he didn't know if that was how it was supposed to work but it did. Our baby isn't facing forward yet though.
