Thanks for the offer! I'm about an hour from the peninsula bow :-( an we leave sat morning super early. Somehow I need to find a way to get one by Friday. I really thought this one ahead :-/
I bought our CARES on amazon. It works fine, but here is a strong suggestion---bring a small square of rubbery shelf liner to put under your child's bottom. On our first flight, my son kept sliding forward in his seat and it was very difficult to keep pulling him up with the CARES on. (He would slide under the lap belt since the CARES doesn't really keep them up with any kind of crotch support.Once we brought the square of material, he didn't slide down.
For my son at 2 years old, it is difficult to sleep in the CARES since his head slumps over onto the metal buckle. I just couldn't fix it for him with a make-shift pillow, but this may not bother another child. For a long flight, I would deal with the annoyance of the carseat so I know he will sleep. GL!
