I've been running around all day looking for sheets for our new bed.
a king size bed.
When we lived here 10 years ago, we got suckered into a calking and could.not.find sheets for it anywhere but mervins.
fast forward to now and even freaking target is 99% cal king.
ugh. grumble. yells like yosemite sam.

We buy a lot of our sheets when we go to the East Coast. For some reason regular King sheets are easier to find there. We've had good luck at Levitz there.
Bed Bath & Beyond in Foster City didn't have anything you liked? Kohls? Macy's? Sears???

I tried bed bath and beyond in redwood city. nothing.
Hillsdale macy's sucked too. I think stanford had better selection, but I was waiting on a reply from the hubster and he took to long so i stopped looking.
I went there for pottery barn b/c they had a set we agreed on, of course they didn't have them in the store
It was so late by the time I went through all of the sheets at target, I didn't have it in me to go to another store. I got a set there on clearance (yay for cheap).
Thanks for the tips. I forgot about khols too.
I know ikea has them, but their quality is hit or miss in the sheet department
I'm worried about online, b/c I'm picky about texture.
What about outlet malls. Aren't there some in Gilory?
Cal King mattresses are made for the west coast.
Eastern King (or just King) are for the east coast.
My aunt works for a mattress manufacturing company.
We have a regular King. I agree with Overstock, and I've had good luck finding
some at Marshalls, TJ Max and Ross. They might not match but they fit. When I see some, I just grab them, because you're right, they are hard to find.
Thanks everyone! lots of ideas and glad/sad to see other sufferers!
