Pregnancy Pilllow

I've just been using a blanket in between my legs and under my stomach but if i move in the middle of the night it's a pain to roll over, switch legs, reposition it, etc

The pillows look comfy, but their kinda expensive[Poll]

Re: Pregnancy Pilllow

  • It is worth it to buy a pillow of some sort. I bought a body one from Target for, like $10 and it worked fine.

  • I am a stomach sleeper and have NEEDED my snoogle since 12wks! Expensive but a full nights sleep (minus getting up to pee) is worth it!

Some people just use a regular body pillow though and it works great too, that can be less expensive. What ever works.

  • I bought a $60 U-shaped pillow on Amazon and it's been worth every penny! I used to toss and turn for hours and now I'm sleeping really well. I highly recommend investing in one. I also don't wake up with back pain anymore.

  • I have a U shapped pillow too. I can't remember how much b/c I bought it with baby 1, but I busted that thing out to sleep last night for the first time and it ROCKS`

  • i have a body pillow i bought at the PX...I guess that would be Wal-mart/Target for the stateside non-military folks.  My husband laughs because it is almost as tall as me (63 inches).  I love it! Soft, mushy where I want it to be, I put it between my knees, under my side and all sorts of ways.  Husband thinks it is funny watching me sleep with it.

  • I was having killer back pain and broke down and bought a Snoogle. I literally cried in my car after buying it (OMG, I just spent $60 on a freakin' pillow?!?!?!). The first night I slept with it I thought it was dumb, basically just a pillow under your head and another between your legs. I figured I would give it a try for like a week before returning it if I still didn't like it.

Well it is a nice pillow and comfy, but didn't seem real amazing like everyone said. However, after a week I went back to my regular pillows to compare and I just couldn't do it, it was so much worse and not comfortable at all.

So, I decided to keep the Snoogle and sleep with it every night now. I don't think it is "the best pillow ever" like some people say, but I defintely sleep a lot better with it (and my back pain is now less severe, but still there). I voted so-so.

Ps. We call it "the big white turd" because that is what it looks like Embarrassed lol.

  • I just got the Snoogle as a birthday present and OH MY GOD, it is awesome! I slept though the night without flopping all over the place. I havent' had a good night's sleep in so long but this pillow helped immediately. I thought these pillows were a total waste but after getting this one - I was totally wrong. DH was really happy, too...I wasn't moving 1000 times in the night and hitting him with the pillows while changing positions. I would highly suggest the Snoogle.

  • They Boppy maternity pillow was the best 50 dollars I ever spent.  I slept terrific during my entire pregnancy.  And if I had leg cramps or back pain this pillow was a life saver.
