  At 28 I am the LAST one tha have a LO and get married, LOL...

  We have 1 set of friends that we see regularly that have 2 kids(1 is older and the other is only a few months older than Aiden) but the rest of our friends that we hang out with on a regular basis do not have kids.  But I totally agree with you about being uncomfortable with the keg party.  I would have done the same thing you did.

  I would have left too.

  I'm 25 and the first one of my friends to get married and have a LO... it's definitely much different hanging out with my single friends now.  I feel like my life is scary to them lol.

  I had DS1 when I was 19 and was pregnant at the same time as one of my best friends (We had the same Christmas due date). We were the first two in our group although we were both also the only ones who weren't in college. This year, we both had another child and although some of our friends have had a baby inbetween the time that we had our firsts and now, we are now the only ones who are still married and have multiple children. So before the issue was that our friends didn't have kids and wanted to party and now they have kids but are single/divorced/seperated and want to party.

  So I am the first Mom in my group of friends by far.  I am the only one that is married and none of them even have serious boyfriends.  I would not say I am unusually young to have a baby (27) but it is becoming more and more clear that I need to find some friends with kiddos because this whole single friend thing isnt really working out.

  I went to one of their birthday parties this weekend.  It was supposed to be a backyard BBQ (started at 1pm on Saturday).  When I got there it was a pretty big keg party and after about 20 minutes I was just super uncomfortable (I had LO with me b/c DH was sick) so I said Happy Birthday and left.  Just made me feel super old and super uncomfortable....hopefully I am not the only one.

   

  I could have written this post. Word for word. I'm 27 and none of my friends have kids or are even married. They act disgusted when lo spits up or farts and have come to visit us once since having her. Some haven't even met her. Once I start talking about her I see their eyes glaze over... Yep time for some new friends!!! Whoa I need to update my siggy!

  I was the first to get married, and definitely the first to have a baby. Fortunately most of our friends are out of the party phase.

  I'm 29, and was the first to get married (at 24) and the first to have a baby.  Our next friends who got married are now pregnant.  Everyone else was single and bar hopping every night.  But this year it seems people have started to catch up: 3 got engaged and one got married.  So I guess all in good time...

  After we got married no one called us to invite us anywhere anymore.  so that's only gotten worse with the baby.  But everyone has jobs anyway so there aren't a ton of outings.

  I'm the first one too.  I have kind of a mixed group, a few single friends, a few married with no kids yet, and I have two pregnant friends.  I'm really looking forward to when my friends have their babies!

  I was the first one in my group of friends to get married which I always thought I'd be the last one..lol.  However I'm the 3rd one to have a baby.  2 of my other friends both had babies last year as well, one in Sept, and the other in Oct.  They were both supposed to get married last year...obviously that had to be pushed back which actually my one friend's wedding is May 7th.  Got my dress Sunday & it fit thank gosh!  However all that sounds hunky dory but I live 45 mins away from all my friends so it's harder to keep in touch sometimes.
