My body hates me...

About a week ago I noticed this little dry patch of skin where I had one of my vivelle patches. I figured it was left over from the glue on the patch or something. But I noticed it has been getting bigger and then this morning I noticed that it has spread all over my stomach and my chest. Also yesterday I started feeling all the classic UTI symptoms.

I tried getting a doctor's appt for today, but they were booked until the end of May. Instead I went to urgent care on my dinner break and I do indeed have a UTI, and I have some skin virus that I can't pronounce but apparently it will get worse and then go away without any medication. I just have to pay attention to where it spreads because if it goes South of the border or in or around my mouth it could be something much worse. Why does my body hate me and insist and causing me trouble at every turn?

So I decided I have had enough and I took a half day and now I am home in my PJs watching all the back logged tv I have on my DVR.

    Oh no- I hope your skin gets better- does it itch?  hope not- that'd be miserable.  

    Look out for cranberry chews- I'm a fan of them since I had a bad UTI that landed me in the hospital a few yrs ago.   Actual cranberry juice doesn't have enough- you'd have to drink so much you'd end up w/ a sugar overload.
