Hi Ladies,
My name is Jess and I am new here today.
I know that the loss board might be the best place for me right now as I am not even thinking about TTC again right now but I know that this is a more active board.
I was a lurker on this board after the loss of our first in November. We were so thrilled to get pregnant on the second cycle of trying again after our 2 month wait. It took us much longer the first time. I was so hopeful that things were going well. I was thrilled when I had morning sickness etc. because I never had that last time.
Unfortunately we went in for our first ultrasound today at 9 weeks 1 day and the baby was (and still is) there but has no heartbeat. It was measuring at 8 weeks so they believe that it passed away last week 
We are heartbroken and in shock that this happened again. I honestly feel like I am in a nightmare and just can't wake up. Unfortunately I haven't been able to pass anything just yet (haven't had cramping or anything either) and it makes me sick to think that I have been rubbing my belly with my dead baby inside
The doctor gave us the usual options of medicine, waiting it out or D&C.
I have decided to wait it out until Friday and then make a decision about how to best proceed.
In the future, I would like to see a fertility specialist because we want to know why this keeps happening. I know that unfortunately miscarriages happen all the time but the two in a row really scares me. Have any of you who have had multiple losses gone this route? Did they come up with any answers?
Anyway, sorry to be such a downer today but I figured that if anyone could understand it would be you ladies.

After our second m/c my doctor ran a whole host of tests to rule out any blood clotting disorders or anything else. It was fairly painless, just meant having a ton of blood drawn. I hope you can find some answers soon. The waiting and uncertainty is the worst. HUGE (((((HUGS))))) to you today.

I'm so sorry for your losses and welcome to the board ((HUGS)). Unfortunately, I have had multiple losses and going through a RE. DH and I are going through the inital tests (were ordered a SA, b/w, and HSG) and I got a call on Monday that my uterus was fine. We haven't heard from the other two tests yet.
Because of the great "Snow"vember of 2015, my medicated cycle was cancelled. However, we were blessed with our little rainbow baby due on 8/14/15! Baby J had other plans and decided to make his grand ole entrance on 7/4/2015!
Surprise! Our little girl entered this world on 12/8/2016 after her eviction notice was long past due. Our little turkey baby turned into a snow baby!

I had multiple losses, but not 2 in a row. I'm also older (36 next month). I've just now started some testing because it's been over 6 months since my last loss. I know lots of ladies here have had testing at different parts of their TTC journey and some came back normal. My thought is "at least you know something". Also, my OB specializes in high risk and infertility so I haven't been to an RE yet. I would definitely ask you doctor his/her recommendations. I hope you get some answers!! Good luck and {HUGS}

I'm so sorry for your loss. I've had 3 losses in a row. I just saw a perinatologist this week and had tons of bloodwork done for blood clotting disorders, chromosomal defects (DH had blood drawn too), lupus, sickle cell, and diabetes. I've also had my thyroid function checked by my OB previously and it came back normal.
I know how it feels waiting for things to happen naturally. Many Hugs and thoughts going out to you. Again, I'm so sorry.
I'm so sorry about your losses.
I just went through my 2nd loss this weekend (I opted for the medically induced m/c). We found out last Monday and I waited until Friday night to take the meds. It was a horrible week so I understand how you're feeling, but we made the right decision.
Our doc will be following my HCG numbers down (they were nearly 30,000 when we found out about the missed m/c). And then we'll do some testing (RPL?) and see if we can find any cause (MTHFR? etc...) - so no answers for us yet. Our age is a likely culprit and as you can see from my siggy, we're using a bit of medical help to get things working, which could also put us at an disadvantage.
I hope you find the support you need. There are unfortunately many of us with multiple losses here. For me this 2nd loss has been much harder than the first, but I am still hopeful.

IVF #1 April 2012 = BFN, IVF #2 June 2012 = BFP. U/S 7/23 = saw heartbeat but measuring behind. Follow up U/S on 7/30 - no heartbeat. D&C 8/2. Trisomy 12. IVF #3 Oct 2012 = Chemical Pregnancy
Phone consult with CCRM on 12/12/12 - ODWU 1/4/13 - both tubes clear(!) - AFC 24, AMH 3.2, FSH 9.6, LH 5.4, E2 25. DH has high frag rate but improved!
IVF #4 March 2013 CCRM. EP protocol w/ Menopur, Gonal-F & Dexamethasone. ER 3/29 & IMSI, PICSI. 43R 13M 10F 6blasts bio'd. CCS testing reveals 3 normals!!!
FET 5/31/13 of 1 4AA blast - thawed and expanded. 4dp5dt BFP.
Beta 9dp5dt = 181, 11dp5dt = 427. 1st u/s showed a healthy heartbeat! EDD 2/16/14
After 4 years of hoping and heartbreak, our sweet little bean was born on 2/19/14
