quick question: monitoring on the weekend?

Hi, this is my first clomid + IUI cycle. I see that CD 11 will be Saturday and CD 12 will be Sunday. If your CD12 falls on the weekend, do they usually still do your monitoring u/s on that day? I'm sure I will find out when I go in for CD 3 u/s, but just wanted to get the answer sooner.

They should. Mine does! I go in for an u/s on Easter Sunday!!

Yes. We had CD12 monitoring on Sunday. There was like one other couple there. I think they just come in for like an hour for monitoring/IUI's on weekends. They have never talked about putting off anything like that.

Thanks for your quick answers! I'm glad about that, I was worried that they'd make me do CD 13 and that seems late to me especially since I have ovulated on CD 13 by myself before. Also, it's nice that's one day I won't have to come in late for work.

My RE office does. This past Saturday I had an U/S done for CD16 and my IUI on Sunday. They're usually there from 7:45am to noon.

They should still do it on a weekend. I don't go in until cd14 but last cycle I had a monitoring app on a sunday. Good luck with the iui!

My RE will scheduling monitoring appts. on the weekend if necessary.

Mine will if necessary but I think he tries to avoid it (for example, I should have gone in for monitoring on Sunday but he had me come Friday and Monday instead). However, my retrieval looks like it's going to be Easter Sunday ... we're going on an egg hunt!

This is one of my issues with my office- they do not monitor on the weekends (for IUIs at least, not sure about IVF). It hasn't been an issue so far for us and I love them for so many other reasons that I haven't questioned them. I would if I thought I should be seen on a weekend though.

Im not sure if mine does Sundays or not but I know they do monitor on Saturdays. But wow I apparently go early for my monitoring ultrasound on CD9 or 10. Interesting...

Yup mine will I have an ultrasound on Good Friday & our IUI on Easter Sunday, the only difference with my clinic is that they only have 1 time slot for IUI's on the weekend instead of the usual morning or afternoon choice.

Mine does mid-cycle monitoring and IUI's on the weekend (last cycle we had the US on Sat and IUI on Sun) but will try to do baseline US on a regular workday. Godd luck with your cycle!
