AW: I can't believe....

I just filled out paperwork to enroll Caden into school!  He will do a Pre-K program in the school district my DH works in.  We are so excited cause it is a special program for Deaf & Hard of Hearing students and he will be one of the "normally developing students" working as a language model while they teach him sign language.

I know a lot of you are enrolling now too...how's it going!?!

    That sounds like such a cool program!  Lucy has a while, but I need to remember to see if our school district offers something like that.  What great skills he'll learn!

    I know that Bellevue School District does!  I can send you the info if you like.  It starts at 1 year old, too!

    Walter will start pre-k in the fall, too!  He'll go to a real elementary with real "school aged" kids!  He'll probably be in the program for 2 years but I love that he gets this kind of learning experience.

    How fun, sounds like an amazing program.  Wish we had something similar.  I did 4 years of sign language and loved it, although now I wouldn't be able to sign my way out of a corner. 

    I just registered M for Pre-K next fall, at his school.  It will be 4 afternoons, they call it Kindergarten Jumpstart for fall/winter b.days.

    That sounds like such a great program! Max still has a couple years before Pre-K, but he will be going to preschool in the fall!
