Mother's day

What are you all buying your Mom's for Mother's day? I seriously have no idea this year what to get her. The last few I have brought her perfume, handbag, massage voucher, necklace...this year I have no idea at all :(  Any suggestions?

    I don't really buy anything for my mom.  We usually have brunch together (that DH and I host/cook) and I'll normally get her a card & flowers or something.  This year, Lila and I made her a messy masterpiece, so we'll give her that.

    We're going the boring picture-in-a-frame and card route while we can still get away with it.  In the past we've done GCs for manis/pedis, fancy chocolates, flowers, jewelry (we already gave them grandma necklaces for Christmas), all the predictable stuff.

    We get her a bunch of car wash passes for her local car wash so she can go wash her car regularly. It's what she asked for a few years ago and she loves getting them as lame as it sounds.

    I decided not to buy my parents anything for special occasions.  Just to take them out and give them an expierence instead.  Trying to figure out what to do for Mother's Day, maybe a trip to the japanese gardens and lunch.
