I relish every moment by not cooking, picking up and leaving it that way, not getting dressed or doing my makeup, plucking my whiskers out in the open (ha!), watching TV & sleeping with the dogs.  I am rarely alone long enough to ever be able to do that since DH and I both teach and have the exactly same schedule of time off - including summers!

After 5.5 years of loss, heartbreak, and empty arms, our dreams were fulfilled through the beautiful, selfless gift of adoption. We are amazingly blessed!

It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

  • Well, let's see...I'm home alone right now so I guess I check the bump obsessively, watch dvr'd shows from the night before that Mh hates (guilty pleasure shows), eat a small snack (today's is two celery sticks and a few baby carrots), and mostly just lay around!

I love getting off of work early.

There may occassionally be a day here or there that the kids didn't run me ragged and I'll have the energy to do some housework. But, honestly, it doesn't happen very often :)

We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And HOPE does not dissappoint.

  • Home for the day or a few hours. I get bored just sitting around.  I look around online for a bit and then I'm bored.  I don't watch TV.  I never really have.  I have sewing projects but I'm still learning so I get frustrated when things don't look perfect.  I guess maybe I need another hobby.

And I always leave the door open unless we have company :)

OMG - me neither!  I was too ashamed to admit it, but DH and I never close the door and I seriously have to remind myself to do so when we have people over!  Embarrassed

Anyway, when I am at home alone, I like to watch the shows and movies that DH doesn't like, I really like to vacuum in peace and scrapbook, of course!

  • I never close the bathroom door!

I'm home alone for two hours before DH gets home and I take a nap and watch what I want to watch on TV.

After 3 years of infertility we were blessed with twin girls through private infant adoption.
