My doggy had surgery yesterday :(

I took her to the vet yesterday morning because she was lethargic and wouldn't eat. Thank God I took her when I did. Turns out she had a tumor on her spleen that was bleeding. Our choice was remove her spleen or put her to sleep. We decided to take our chances that the tumor was benign, meaning the surgery would be a cure. They found a golf ball size tumor, and we'll find out in a couple days if it's cancerous or not. My poor baby :(

    Poor doggy. :-(  Hope the tumor is benign, and she has a full recovery.  (((hugs)))

    TTC #2, Operative hysteroscopy March 2011; IVF #1 long lupron protocol April 2011-cancelled due to poor response; IVF #2 flare protocol May 2011=hospitalization due to abdominal hemorrhage during ER and no fert due to MFI issues. Moving onto international adoption from Moldova January 2013!

    Oh no!!  Katt, I'm so sorry your doggie is so sick!!  I pray that the tumor is benign and that the surgery was the cure.  Please keep us updated.  ((HUGS))

    Poor doggy :( Glad the surgery went well though- lots of T&P for good test results!!

    The vet called. They kept her last night for monitoring. He said she ate very good this morning, is up and active, wagging her tail. YAY! We are picking her up around 4:30-5 :)

     I'm so glad she's doing ok! I hope the surgery is all she needed!
