    I guess that depends what ur looking for....

    Gambling, nice dinners, spas, shoppig- yes.  Vegas like scene- NOT AT ALL.  AC can be a blast, but it is def a bit sketch.  U wouldn't be touring around, like u would in vegas.

    All of this.  AC is a lot of fun and depending on time of year you can always hit the beach while you're there too, but it's definitely not glitzy.

    DH and I are going away just for a couple days - Wed till Fri - we wanted something different as we've never been. We were going to go to vegas from Wed till Sun but he cant get off work Sat...so somewhere closer to home it is!

    We are looking for a nice hotel and a nice dinner.

    We are open and up for anything - just to get out of town and spend some me and him time (I really havent seen him in about 6 weeks)

    I like the Borgata, and there are great dining and bar/clubs/ lounges there.

    I grew up and still live just outside ac....i suppose im desensitized to it but my college friends come down and visit and love to go.   there are shows and shopping   beach bars are fun in the summer....   if you do decide to come to ac, let me know if you want to know about surrounding area atttactions....philly is less than an hour and there are lots of local wineries

    We've been to Philly last year -- it was nice!

    We will be going next Wed --

    shows and bars sound fun to me....we havent been out in ages. We just want something different then DC/Baltimore/Annapolis.

    i am a frequent AC visitor :)

    love to gamble.

    borgata is nice but off the main boardwalk.

    if you want to stay in the center of boardwalk then do Bally's or Ceasar's.  you can walk up and down boardwalk or into the outlet shopping.

    carmine's a great restaurant in tropicana.

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    I'm not a fan...

    There are all sorts of casinos popping up all over the area that are much nicer than the ones in AC, plus a lot of the area is kinda depressing and sketchy.
