When did you find out the sex?

At what point did you find out the sex of the baby? I was trying to figure out if I would know the sex by Christmas. I will be 17 weeks on Christmas Day. Will I find out before Christmas or will I have to wait until after the holidays?

    If you have a NTS you MAY be able to have a guess at the gender - we did, at 12w2d - and it was right... but we didn't trust it until the big US - which is done between 18-20w... so honestly- no, you won't really know for sure by christmas yet.

    We have an u/s scheduled at 16w with the high risk OB, so I'm hoping we can find out then!  If not then it will be at our 20 w u/s.

    we found out at our Big u/s at 18.5 weeks. The place we went won't tell you until you're at least 18 weeks.

    20w but we didn't have an u/s between then a 7w to find out.
    Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever!     20 weeks, but we didn't have a NT scan or any other ultrasound between 9 and 20 weeks to find out.

    Our big u/s is 20 wks. Good question to ask your ob though...everyone is different.

    we found out at 17.5 weeks. I know someone who found out at 13 weeks.

    With DS we found out at the NT at 11 wks.  I'm hoping we know before xmas too, but I'll only be 16w2d.  We'll see.

    We had an u/s at 12 weeks as part of our NT scan.  I didn't even bother asking for a guess at that point.  I didn't want to get my mind set on one sex or the other only to find out a month or so later that it was incorrect!  We found out at our big u/s at 19w1d.

    we found out at 15w6d.  We have an 3d/4d u/s place here in town that guarantees gender at 16 weeks.  Cost us $100, but well worth it Wink

    We got a guess at 16 weeks, but the tech told us not to start shopping or anything.  The guess turned out to be right -- it was confirmed at our 19-week u/s.

    We found out at 19weeks. We had an ultrasound at 15 weeks due to bleeding but the baby wasn't cooperating so they couldn't get a glimpse to even guess at that point.
