Most of DH's Indian grad school friends are married, but none of them are actively TTC as most of their wives are themselves still in school. DH is the only one whose marriage was not arranged (obviously since I'm not Hindu) except for his friend Shiv who also married an American.

You see where this is going, don't you?

The wife of one of his friends (not the American) who got married about 6 months after we did is pregnant. We found out this past weekend (Sunday) @ temple during Tamil New Year's celebrations. They had just had their gender u/s last week & it's a girl; they waited until they knew the sex to tell everyone.

Seriously, I am going to become a shut-in if this other people getting pregnant crap doesn't stop soon!

Uggh! There is nothing worse than getting lapped! I have had 3 couples, who married a few years after me, get pregnant. Honestly, if they start working on #2, I will scream.

I am sorry you have to deal with that - I really hope you get your BFP soon!
