I feel like I know all of you, but you don't know me....

The "lame" (totally not) post below got me to thinking....Since I don't post a lot, but I read tons of the convos, I feel a little stalkerish! I thought maybe I'd do a little "get to know me post". I'm hoping someone will participate so that I don't look like I'm talking to myself hehe. Ask me anything :)

    We moved here the last week in September...right after LO was born. :) I honestly didnt think we would like it, but we LOVE living here!

    We did when we lived in Germany....a female Great Dane named Schatzi. We found a new family for her because it was going to cost A LOT (think in the thousands). I still email and get pics though from her new owner. We miss her!!

    What is your DD's name?
    Adrianna Brooke.....she didnt have a name until the day she was born. And my DH picked it! The nurses all looked at him and said "What's her name?" and he said "Adrianna Brooke..." I dont know where Adrianna came from, but Brooke is my last name. I think he did a good job :) We still call her BG (baby girl) since she didnt have a name.

    Thanks! It's been rainy here for a couple of days, but I think the forecast is looking good! I'm jealous of your Vegas weather!

    Well thank you very much! Maybe I should AW her. We go probably once a month. We live far enough away that you wouldnt even think we lived in Vegas. I like going there though to try out new restaurants. Theres always something fun to do! November is a great time a year to come here too!

    Purple with darker purple polka dots :) I also let everyone know in the survey above. Luckily this pair is hole-free! haha

    Thanks! I love your siggy with the blue bonnets. Your girl is adorable! The outfit is by BabyWorks. I think it was a gift so I have no idea what store it came from. I dont think Ive ever even heard of that brand before!

    When we first found out we were moving here my first thought was "Vegas? Really....ugh." Life outside the strip is great. We live in Summerlin and its typical suburban life. I may be jaded since I live in Germany for 3 years, but I LOVE planned communities. I hear so many people gripe about planned communities but I am all about the parks, sidewalks, community events and Starbucks drive-thrus on practically every street. Maybe Ill feel differently in 3 years, but who knows! I dont think I will...It also doesnt feel like we live in the desert because Summerlin does a great job with landscaping.

    hahaha Literally laughed out loud! It means baby or sweetheart in German. The Germans would always yelled "SCHATZI" and give me the wonky eye like "you named your dog, WHAT?!" I always said that once we got back to the States it would be really cute....and then we didnt bring her back. Waaaah. Heidi Klum calls Seal this and I got really excited when I heard her say it on Oprah.
